A little history... Faze burst onto the Canadian media scene in January 2000 with its premier issue. The new magazine was featured in national newspapers and TV broadcasts thoughout the year as a new breed of student magazine that was positive, empowering AND entertaining! By the end of its second year Faze had the third largest circulation of any magazine in the country at 500,000 paid copies, reaching millions of readers in schools and at home. Faze would continue for another 15 years as Canada's largest magazine for young women, used by nearly all major advertisers in the space; from P&G to Sony, L'Oreal to Rogers, Gov't of Canada to Humber College, to name just a few out of hundreds.
Fast forward to today's new media landscape, and Faze has shifted its focus to its digital content, social media channels and live events. However, print remains a highly effective vehicle to reach a targeted audience, with exceptional ROI. With this in mind, we have "special" issues that are published from time to time in partnership with our advertising partners.
An example is a recent back-to-school partnership with long-time client Proctor & Gamble, that featured a major YouTube & social media star on the
cover. The collaboration featured a cover shoot in LA showcasing P&G products, a strong advertising and advertorial presence in the magazine, and a P&G sponsored live launch event in Toronto featuring the celebrity cover girl, empowering female speakers, musical performances, product booths and sampling.
If your company or client is interested in reaching young Canadian women through a traditional, but effective print campaign, please contact us to discover what exciting opportunities are in the works.
